What we’re looking for:

• Final year Undergraduate/Master’s student
• Majoring in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related area
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Programming foundation in OOP and knowledge of platforms such as UNIX, Windows, databases, Java, C, C++, C#, .NET and other technologies
• Knowledge of databases (Oracle, SqlServer, Access etc.), programming (Python, SQL, VBA, ETL frameworks), and reporting tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, etc.)
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Being comfortable with change and able to adjust to changing demands and requirements
• Strong team player and client focused
• Show a keen interest and passion in Computing and Technology

The Global Technology Analyst Program, your responsibilities will vary based on your location, job profile, and team assignment. Your opportunity might include:

• Provide technical excellence to design, develop, and maintain state-of-the-art technology applications utilizing technologies such as Java/EJB’s, C++, .NET, Python and Web services
• Helping grow and manage the critical systems and technology platforms needed to maintain the company’s market-leading positions in all its businesses, such as deposits, payment products, consumer lending, and investment banking.
• Defining business requirements, identify data sources to meet those requirements, and mine data sources to discover business and customer insights
• Responding, researching, measuring, detecting, and mitigating potential security attacks that attempt to compromise our network

What You’ll Do

Software Engineer: Key tasks and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Provide technical excellence to design, develop, and maintain state-of-the-art technology applications utilizing technologies such as Java/EJB’s, C++, .NET, Python and Web services
• Gather and translate internal and external client requirements into technical design specifications, business process reengineering
• Code solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces
• Participates and contributes to the delivery/release (CI/CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes

Application Production Services & Engineering [APS&E]: Key tasks and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Take responsibility in supporting end users by responding to the application issues that underpins the daily operations of the entire bank
• Be involved in Global Incident Management, Event Management, Change Management and Problem Management processes
• Participate in defining the engineering approach and design across the end-to-end technology stack from networks, servers, cloud to modern infrastructure
• Advocate and advance modern agile solution delivery practices and contribute to great design, engineering, and organizational practices
• Work within and across various platform teams and Technology Groups to help build out automated processes and to streamline processes
• Liaise with cross-functional infrastructure teams to manage the delivery infrastructure work for various initiatives and projects within Application Production Services & Engineering (APSE)
• Have exposure to the business management functions

 Core Technology Infrastructure [CTI]: Key tasks and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Hosting, Application & Database Services: Infrastructure capacity planning, Windows/ Unix/ Cloud Operations, Storage and Database Management
• Network Services: Internal/ External Network Management, Network Service Assurance
• Business Operations: Business Management, Financial Management, Risk and Controls
• Datacenter Services and Portfolio Management: Datacenter Projects and Operations, Infrastructure Project Management
• Mainframe Services: Mainframe Engineering and Operations

Global Information Security/ Cybersecurity: Key tasks and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Provide analytical, strategic, and technical skills to design, develop, implement, and use state-of-the-art technology cybersecurity solutions aimed at reducing risk
• Responsible for delivering innovative capabilities in team environment, as well as leveraging skills, background, and interests for a specific group within Global Information Security
• Respond to, research, measure, detect and mitigate security attacks that attempt to compromise at the network and application layers
