The Team:
Global Human Resources (GHR) operates as a strategic partner to each area of the bank, focused on making Bank of America a great place for people to work.
As a member of the GHR team, you also help the company provide comprehensive and competitive benefits, learning and development opportunities; support diversity and engagement initiatives; and promote an inclusive workplace for our employees worldwide.
Programme Overview
Working in partnership, the HR specialist and generalist teams provide a comprehensive service to the business. The specialist functions include recruitment, diversity, learning and leadership development, compensation and benefits, shared services, and employee relations.
During the 10-week summer internship programme you will have the opportunity to rotate through a number of the specialist functions and have exposure to our generalist teams.
Working in partnership, the HR specialist and generalist teams provide a comprehensive service to the business. HR specialist functions include Talent Acquisition, Talent & Learning, Diversity & Inclusion, Compensation & Benefits, Shared Services and Employee Relations.
During the 10-week summer internship programme you will have the opportunity to rotate through multiple HR specialist teams and have exposure to our generalist teams. Many of the HR specialist teams will provide you with the opportunity to work on live, relevant projects to help support the function.
Training and Development
Your training and development is our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the programme in addition to on the job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.
Responsibilities:
As a summer analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the creation of talent attraction strategies
- Collaborating on projects across HR that contribute our key people strategies and initiatives
- Providing support to projects and initiatives across the wider HR team including in Diversity & Inclusion and Learning and Leadership development
Eligibility
- Candidates are required to be pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from an accredited college or university. Academic semester and all studies should be complete, with a graduation timeframe between September 2025 and June 2026
- Achieved minimum of 112 UCAS point (or equivalent) and on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent)
- To be eligible to apply for this role, you must have the right to work in the UK as visa sponsorship is not available for it.
- Must be available to join the programme from June 2025 to August 2025.
