Global Technology & Operations (GT&O) provides end-to-end technology and fulfillment to individual consumers, small businesses, middle-market businesses and large corporations. Globally, GT&O manages the critical systems and multiple platforms needed to maintain the enterprise’s market-leading positions in key segments, including deposits, payment products, consumer lending, wealth management, small business and middle-market lending, treasury services, investment banking, and sales and trading.

The Global Technology Analyst Program is a one-year global development program designed to develop high potential graduates and facilitate your transition from academia to a professional career so you can hit the ground running from day one.   It not only provides program management support, but also structured learning and development training, and networking opportunities.  The learning curriculum focuses on business, technical and soft skills.   As part of new hire experience, participants will attend an orientation training event to provide a strong foundation upon which to build their knowledge and career.

Within this program, Developer opportunites are available in the following areas:

Equities Technology

  • Supports the Equity Derivatives sales and trading businesses by providing innovative solutions to help drive a competitive advantage. This includes technology solutions for managing risk and P&L, driving front to back STP workflow, market making, and supporting new idea generation.

Prime Brokerage Technology

  • Supports hedge funds, professional traders and market makers in trade execution, securities lending, margin finance and risk reporting. This group supports the Enterprise Risk and Prime Brokerage Risk - Margin users to measure, monitor and manage the risk and exposure to our clients.

Risk and Finance Technology

  • Provides reliable historical time-series data for value at risk (VaR) calculations, stress testing and other computations used in regulatory risk reporting.

Role Description:

As a Developer, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical excellence to design, develop and maintain state-of-the-art tools utilizing technologies such as Python, Java, .NET, C#, Scala, Web services and data science/analytics technologies
  • Gather and translate internal and external client requirements into technical design specifications, business process reengineering
  • Partner with business, product and technology teams across the organization to deliver world class technology solutions

Required skills:

  • Candidates are required to be pursuing an undergraduate BA/BS degree from an accredited university with a graduation timeframe between December 2019 and June 2020
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Financial Mathematics or similar degree of relevance
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with remote and diverse teams

Desired skills:

  • 3.2 minimum GPA preferred
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Multi-platform knowledge, including Python, Java, .NET, C#, Web services and data science/analytic technologies
