Job Description & Program Overview

The HRDP is a two-year, rotational program to give participants exposure to multiple disciplines within GHR. Potential placements include: HR Generalist, Learning & Leadership Development, Compensation & Benefits, Diversity & Inclusion, Legal, Employee Relations, and Talent Acquisition/Campus Recruiting.

As an associate, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Develop the knowledge and skills required to be successful through exposure to HR and lines of business at Bank of America
  • Establish multiple peer and mentor relationships to provide ongoing coaching and development feedback throughout program
  • Support needs related to business advisory, operations, HR processes, and special projects
  • Participate in collaboration across teams to develop business acumen and gain exposure to multiple HR functions
  • Connect with senior HR leaders to better understand how HR drives critical business decisions and serves as a strategic partner throughout the bank
  • Develop networking skills through connections within projects, intern-specific programming, and engagement events
  • Conclude internship with final presentation to HR leaders, managers, peers, and mentors focusing on business delivery and overall accomplishments
  • Apply experiences to shape and develop personal brand

 

Qualifications

  • Candidates are required to be pursuing an MBA or MA in industrial or organizational psychology, human resources management, communications, industrial labor relations, organizational development, or other related degrees from an accredited college or university with a graduation timeframe between December 2019 and June 2020
  • Minimum of three years, full-time meaningful and related work experience
  • Bank of America is unable to consider candidates that will require visa sponsorship now, or in the future, for this specific role
