Chief Administrative Officer Group Program Overview 

The Chief Administrative Officer Group (CAO) oversees the delivery of the company’s full range of capabilities for clients through its Local Markets Organization including nearly 100 market presidents and teams; Public Policy; Global Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility; the Philanthropic Foundation, Corporate Communications, External Communications, Global Sports Sponsorships, Corporate Security, and other related functions.

Intern Program Overview

The Chief Administrative Officer Group Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week summer internship that will introduce you to Bank of America and the CAO organization.  Our goal for summer interns is to have the opportunity to build upon their academic foundation – specifically technical skills, industry knowledge and familiarity with a corporate environment – while pursuing their career based on their interests and background. 

Your training and development is our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the program in addition to on-the-job support, events, and mentorship throughout. These opportunities include but are not limited to:

A Day in the Life

As a Summer Analyst, you will be placed on one team where your primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Support key programs designed to tell our brand story and demonstrate the value of the franchise
  • Measure performance and complete business reviews and analysis
  • Identify and execute on opportunities for business process design and mitigate risk
  • Write and review messaging, assist with internal and corporate communications, media, and communication of strategies
  • Support business needs related to reporting and analysis, special projects, and other key priorities

 

Chief Administrative Officer Group Opportunities

The CAO Summer Analyst Program assigns interns to teams across the line of business. Internship opportunities include positions supporting various business groups, including those listed below:

  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
  • Global Environmental Group (GEG)

Qualifications

  • Candidates are required to be pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university. Eligible candidates must have a graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025
  • Common areas of study included but are not limited to: Business Administration, Communications, Economics, Environmental Studies, Event Management, International Studies, Political Science, Public Policy or other similar degree preferred
  • 3.0 minimum GPA preferred
  • Candidates should possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, a drive for operational excellence and a commitment to achieving sustainable results
  • Additionally, students should hold strong academic and technical skills in Microsoft Office as well as show proficiencies in leadership, teamwork, problem solving and analytical skills, verbal and written communication and professionalism
