2020 Strategy & Management Program: Product & Strategy

Job Description & Program Overview

The Strategy & Management Program – Product & Strategy Track develops future leaders while engaging them in challenging and business critical assignments in non-client facing roles. Recent MBA level candidates experience a 2-year rotational program in various areas of the Consumer Banking organization where they can develop and apply skills across a broad range of financial services, solutions, and products impacting up to 66 million clients. Through the experience, candidates will have access and exposure to senior leaders to guide their growth and development.

The Product and Strategy track provides the opportunity to work on teams within the Consumer Bank in roles such as product development and management, marketing and communications, strategy, performance management, process design, and project management. During the two 1-year rotations Product and Strategy rotational opportunities are available in the following areas:

•   Digital Banking

•   Products

•   Small Business

•   Consumer Lending

•   Business Support

•   The Academy

•    Payments

•    Operations

•    Consumer Banking & Investments

•    Credit & Underwriting

•    Consumer Client Services

 

Your training and development is our top priority with on the job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout. As a program associate, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

•Applying your financial acumen and analytical skills to support a variety of projects as required by our customers and business leaders

•Drive success of client-centric products worth hundreds of billions that impact consumers across the nation

•Own initiatives that drive innovation and client delight, impacting the industry’s future

•Building, designing and executing process solutions against business strategy that work to ensure the successful running of the banks day- to-day business

•Working in a collaborative environment on high level projects that tie to the strategy for the line of business within the Consumer Bank

•Own large scale operations processes that address risk and operational excellence

 

Qualifications

The Ideal candidate will exhibit a strong drive for results; succeed in a fast-paced, empowered, and collaborative environment; enjoy teamwork and partnering with others; possess basic financial acumen, excellent organizational and analytical skills; and have the ability to build/design and execute strategy.

 

Required Skills

•Candidates are required to be an MBA graduate from an accredited business school or university with a graduation timeframe between December 2019 and June 2020

•3–5 years pre-MBA work experience with a demonstrated record of achievement

•Relevant work history that reflects experience in managing others, delegating tasks and resolving conflicts

 

Desired candidates may possess a relevant work history that reflects:

•   Ability to influence leaders

•   Ability to navigate in a highly matrixed environment

•   Experience in execution/production for end to end processes

•   Previous financial services experience

•   Strong statistical/analytical background

•   Team/project management experience

•    Strategy and/or business planning experience
