Corporate Functions Program Overview

The Corporate Functions Summer Analyst Program offers a summer experience in the Chief Administrative Officer group and Global Strategy & Enterprise.

 

The Chief Administrative Office (CAO) organization oversees the delivery of the company’s full range of capabilities for clients through its local markets organization including more than 90 market presidents and teams; Public Policy; Environmental, Social & Governance; Corporate Communications, External Communications, Global Sports Sponsorships, Corporate Security and other related functions.

                                                                     

The Global Strategy & Enterprise Platforms (GSEP) organization includes oversight of Corporate Strategy, Strategic Initiatives, Enterprise Payments, as well as Enterprise Data Strategy, Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting (NFRR), Capital Planning, Global Real Estate, Global Procurement, Vendor Management, Business Continuity, Change Management and Operational Excellence.

Intern Program Overview

 

The Corporate Functions Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week summer internship that will introduce you to Bank of America and the CAO and GSEP organizations.  Our goal for summer interns is to have the opportunity to build upon their academic foundation – specifically technical skills, industry knowledge and familiarity with a corporate environment – while pursuing their career based on their interests and background.

 

Your training and development is our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the program in addition to on-the-job support, events, and mentorship throughout. These opportunities include but are not limited to:

A Day in the Life

As a Summer Analyst, you will be placed on one team where your primary responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Support key programs designed to tell our brand story and demonstrate the value of the franchise
  • Measure performance and complete, business reviews and analysis
  • Analyze processes to empower managers and employees to identify opportunities that help us continuously innovate
  • Identify and execute on opportunities for business process design and mitigate risk
  • Write & review messaging, assist with internal & corporate communications, media, and communication of strategies
  • Support business needs related to reporting & analysis, special projects and other key priorities

 

Corporate Functions Opportunities

The Corporate Functions Summer Analyst Program assigns interns to teams across the line of business. Internship opportunities include positions supporting various business groups, such as the below:

  • Supply Chain Management
  • Third Party Governance and Risk Management
  • Data Management
  • Program Management Support
  • Events
  • Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
  • Communications (Internal and External)
  • Public Policy

*Intern team assignments are developed based on business need and aligned to skillset and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

 

Qualifications

  • Candidates are required to be pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university. Eligible candidates must have a graduation date between December 2023 and June 2024
  • Common areas of study included but are not limited to: Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Accounting, Operations, Communications, Political Science, International Studies, Economics, or other similar degree are preferred
  • 3.0 minimum GPA preferred
  • Candidates should possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, a drive for operational excellence and a commitment to achieving sustainable results.
  • Additionally, students should hold strong academic and technical skills in Microsoft Office as well as show proficiencies in leadership, teamwork, problem solving and analytical skills, verbal and written communication and professionalism.
