Global Markets product coverage includes securities and derivative products in both the primary and secondary markets.

 

Job Description & Program Overview

Public Sector Banking within Municipal Banking and Markets provides capital (loans, letters of credit, and other credit products) and other traditional banking products and services to State and Municipal clients (cities, counties, school districts, transportation authorities, etc.).

 

As an active team member in Municipal Products, analysts assist bankers in capital raising and strategic advisory transactions for governmental clients. Your responsibilities as an analyst may include:

•   Participating in the underwriting of different credit deals

•   Supporting various financial analyses, including loan structuring

•   Performing comprehensive and in-depth client and credit research

•   Preparation of presentations and other materials for clients

•   Work on various one-time projects

•   Interaction with deal team members and clients

 

Qualifications

•   Candidates are required to be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a graduation timeframe between December 2022 and May 2023

•   3.2 minimum GPA preferred

•   Candidates must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, strategic and creative thinking, and strong written and oral communications skills

•   Superior analytical and organizational skills

•   Ability to manage several projects at once

•   Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team

•   Other desired characteristics include: integrity, attention to detail, assertiveness, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic and team focus

•   A strong interest in finance and the public sector, in addition to a background in Finance and Accounting is preferred
