Global Markets Operations Full Time Analyst Program


What we’re looking for (Key Requirements):

  • Third year undergraduate/master student
  • Outstanding academic achievement
  • Major in engineering or business areas such as finance, economics, operations, management or a related area
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills

Why Us?

Global Markets Operations (GMO) clears and settles trades in securities and listed derivatives;

manages funds transfers; provides custody services for proprietary and client assets; and maintains

control over static product and client data. These primary functions support the company’s

 Global Markets and Investment Banking divisions, and third party clients through a variety of financial

and regulatory control activities. 

What you’ll do (Key Responsibilities):

  • Performs post-execution trade processing and internal controls, from trade entry through settlement and custody, and ensures all trades are settled as quickly and efficiently as possible
  • Ensures that the company delivers services and execution that meet market-leading standards
  • Manages operational risk and accurate transaction settlement, to maximize profitability while minimizing risk
  • Provides effective cash management, ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet as well as the global integrity of client data, and full compliance monitoring of all transactions
  • Works closely with colleagues in the Fixed Income, Commodities, Equity, Listed Derivatives or Prime Brokerage businesses to process complex transactions and solve operational problems
  • Responds to business issues and client needs, assists in risk management, conducts revenue analysis and participates in company’s re-engineering projects
