Our leading Graduate Analyst Program offers you the opportunity to fully integrate into one team, allowing you to contribute straightaway. Graduates start the program with a comprehensive induction. To further aid your development throughout the remainder of the program we offer an extensive learning curriculum focused on technical skills, business acumen, financial skills and soft skills. The learning curriculum is a combination of instructor and virtual led training, and e-learning modules.  As an Analyst, you may be working closely with colleagues from various regions, reflecting the global nature of our business.  This is a great opportunity to build a network of colleagues from across the company that will be a tremendous resource to you throughout your career.

 

The Network Services team securely connects our customers, our colleagues, and our capabilities wherever they are in the world.   The team is responsible for designing, building, and operating Bank of America’s global data network and managing our technology partnerships to maximize our strategic business value.  The scope of services includes WAN and LAN connectivity, switching, routing, load balancing, firewall, proxy, access and authentication, malware protection, tools/telemetry, network software development and domain name system (DNS)/Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DCHP)/IP address management.

 

As a Technology Infrastructure Network Analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Learn about all aspects of network infrastructure with an opportunity to gain industry accredited certifications such as CCNA
  • Provide operational support of network environments: Switching & Routing, Firewall, Traffic Management, Content Inspection, and DNS
  • Identifying possible production failure scenarios through eyes on glass monitoring of IT infrastructure services - identify service impact, interpret monitors, dashboards, traffic captures, and logs
  • Initiate production support triage efforts for network infrastructure incidents, manage bridge line troubleshooting and appropriate team engagement, engage in technical research and troubleshooting, and escalate to next level of leadership as needed
  • Provide status updates and technical detail for awareness communications, ensuring accuracy of all communications sent, and ensuring any necessary follow-ups are scheduled
  • Responsible for data quality and completion of incident tickets, including ensuring all impacts are accurately recorded and documented in the system of record

 

Assemble professional documents based on existing templates and ability to provide accurate work descriptions with assumptions, and caveats

 

Qualifications

  • Candidates are required to be a recent graduate or in their final year of study at an accredited college or university with a 2023 graduation / completion of studies
  • On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent)
  • Show demonstrable evidence of self-learning outside of studies, and efforts to advance technical skills
  • Display clear motivation for exploring a Technology career within financial services
  • Display an interest in, and a keenness to further your knowledge of, infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, backups, databases, desktops, information security, programming, and communications
  • Demonstrate capacity for innovative thinking and strong problem solving
  • Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to interact with a variety of people
  • Display evidence of strong team-work, leadership and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a pre-requisite
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethics by earning other’s trust and respect through consistent honesty and professionalism in all interactions
