Description

Wholesale Credit is an integrated underwriting, monitoring and product management division Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB).

Who are we looking for?

•  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related courses;
•  Fluent English is mandatory;
•  Solid MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills;
•  Great researcher and ability to consolidate into a concise narrative;
•  Proactive – takes the initiative & demonstrates ownership;
•  Focused on continuous learning and building superior technical skills and product knowledge;
•  Demonstrates a passion for the business, intellectually curious, focused on acquiring new skills;
•  Based in Santiago, Chile.


Skills we look to fill a position in Wholesale Credit:

•  Fundamental Credit Analysis of Financial Institutions, Large Corporate clients in LatAm, and Multinational subsidiaries (including assessment of key credit risks, Parent x Sub relationship, business profile, financial/economic standing);
•  Engage Global Credit, Risk, and Banking teams to obtain credit allocations;
•  Perform comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research;
•  Participate in due diligence sessions and potentially client-facing meetings;
•  Be accountable for active client monitoring with a regular review and update of the analysis of counterparties and existing risk ratings as well as industry trends and news flow;
•  Engage in other credit related activities including presentations to senior management.
