Job Description & Program Overview 


Are you looking to change career? If you have a keen desire to learn and progress in the financial services industry but thought the opportunity had passed you by then our Career Transition Apprentice Programme might be for you.


Starting in September 2024, we are currently looking for a motivated Apprentice to join our EMEA HR Reporting and Analytics team in Chester. This will be full-time role whilst studying the Level 3 Data Foundations Apprenticeship standard.

The Team


The EMEA HR Reporting and Analytics team is a well-established part of the Governance, Operations, Analytics & Transformation organization within Global Human Resources.


The primary focus of our team is to deliver employee-based reporting and analytic solutions through advanced consultation for the EMEA, Canada and LatAm regions.  Our business partners include HR Technology, Global Human Resources Leadership and internal consumers of employee data across all lines of businesses.


Key priorities for our team are to build and maintain relationships with business partners, act as subject matter experts on employee data and act as an intermediary between business and technology to create strategic reporting solutions.


As a HR Reporting and Analytics Apprentice, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Work with the HR Reporting & Analytics Client Consultants and Managers to create, build and deliver reporting to agreed timelines and standards
  • Manage and maintain business consultation queues related to production incidents, change requests and custom report requests
  • Manage access requests and provide training on self-service HR reporting tools
  • Partner with various teammates to research and problem solve business data issues across all HR functional areas (e.g. HR Generalists, Compensation, Leadership Development)
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency (e.g. eliminate ongoing custom reports, create QRGs, develop scalable solutions)
  • Provide quality assurance testing of reports and dashboards
  • Actively participate in projects and initiatives as needed

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent team collaborator in addition to being able to work independently
  • Intellectually curious and not afraid to ask questions

Eligibility


As the successful applicant, you must have:

  • English & mathematics GCSEs (or equivalent)
  • Been a resident of the UK for the past 3 years
  • Not be in full-time education when starting the apprenticeship
  • Have the right to work and remain in the UK indefinitely
  • Have not completed a qualification or apprenticeship at the same level or higher which provided you with substantially the same skills or training as you would gain through this apprenticeship with Bank of America
