Overview of Summer Analyst Role

Summer Analysts will help orchestrate strategic advisory and capital raising transactions. Bank of America provides valuable analytical based work experience for our summer analysts focused on the financial markets and which provides team members visibility with clients as a representative of a top tier global investment bank.

 Responsibilities

• Preparing presentation and other materials for clients
• Assisting in the development of complex financial models
• Performing various financial analyses, including company benchmarking, valuation, accretion / dilution for acquisition or merger situations
• Conducting comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
• Participate in due diligence sessions
• Communicating and interacting with deal team members
• Managing several projects at once and working effectively as an individual and as part of a team

 Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a graduation timeframe between December 2024 and June 2025 is required
• Must demonstrate a track record of superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities
• Must have a combination of strong quantitative/analytical skills, attention to detail and client focus
• Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and oral communications skills
• Assertiveness, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, team focus
• Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities
• Dedication to building a career in the investment banking industry
