As part of the Bank of America team, High School Interns will have the opportunity to work on the Data & Analytics teams within our Global Human Resources division. The primary focus of our team is to deliver reporting and analytic solutions for our key partners by building relationships, acting as experts on employee data, and connecting business with technology to create reporting solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support business analysis and the development of reporting using many data sources
  • Support processing and designing presentations to facilitate better decision making
  • Identify opportunities to automate how data is used for reporting/dashboards
  • Work on projects requiring the use of Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx, and Tableau
  • General administrative duties (data entry/updates, email, scan, copies, phone, etc.)
  • Assist with other activities and team support as needed
  • Bank of America does not complete third party forms from colleges, universities, or other parties.

You’re a person who:

  • Understands data orientation and analytics, inclusive of data mining and ad hoc reporting
  • Has the ability to create a story based on data and effectively present the results
  • Has strong oral and written communication skills
  • Has the ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate problem-solving abilities
  • Can build solid relationships with teammates by fostering teamwork, partnership and collaboration in a virtual or face-to-face environment
  • Demonstrates initiative, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to adapt to changing demands and requirements
  • Has experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint), and willingness to learn Alteryx and Tableau
  • Has a desire to grow and develop skills with Bank of America
  • Has an interest in learning more about Human Resources
  • 18 years of age
