Bank of America and Firelight Films are proud to present the HBCU Rising Homecoming college tour, an exclusive screening event of "Tell Them We Are Rising"

“Tell Them We Are Rising: The Story of Historically Black Colleges and Universities” is the first and only feature documentary and multi-platform campaign, HBCURising, to research, gather and share a rich mosaic of stories that relay the history of HBCUs. Produced by Firelight Films and directed by master documentarian Stanley Nelson, it is slated to premiere February 19, 2018 on PBS’ Independent Lens at 9pm ET. The film is funded with support by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, ITVS, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Lumina Foundation, the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations, and the Ford Foundation.
