Global Procurement Summer Analyst Program  , Charlotte, NC

Program Overview

The Global Procurement Summer Analyst Program is a ten week summer internship. At Bank of America, Global Procurement is responsible for the policies, processes, programs, and tools to engage and manage a third party which includes category management, procurement, sourcing, process and design, testing, and operations.

The program will provide opportunities to:

  • Understand the Global Procurement value proposition and its alignment to Bank of America’s lines of business and risk framework
  • Build relationships with alumni peer buddy, senior leaders, and stakeholders
  • Participate in a managed program in place to further develop relationship between procurement manager and intern while providing professional development opportunities through variety of engagements including trainings, speaker series, networking, community service and lunch and learns

 

As a summer analyst, key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Multitask multiple projects and priorities associated with line of business requests
  • Deepen knowledge associated with steps to create, develop, and maintain relationships with vendors
  • Negotiate, analyze, and drive vendor relationships and metrics to enhance business outcomes
  • Identify and execute opportunities for business process and design
  • Provide subject matter expertise in supplier evaluation and performance measurement, contract negotiating, quarterly business reviews, total cost of ownership analysis, risk analysis, and compliance requirements
  • Facilitate the identification and competitive selection of companies to provide products and services based on optimum mix of price, quality products and services offered
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on the status of adoption, implementation, and adherence to policies and standards

 

Qualifications

 

Required:

  • Currently working towards a degree from an accredited college or university with a graduation date between December 2021 and June 2022
  • Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Accounting, or Operations
  • Note: Bank of America is unable to consider candidates that will require visa sponsorship now, or in the future, for this specific role.
